What are your tour cancellation policies?
All tour reservations are guaranteed with a valid credit card. Cancellations of a reservation within a 72 hr. time frame prior to start date and time of tour will result in 50% cancellation fee.

Where can I board for the Alpenglow Adventures Tours?
We pick you up at your front door within most locations in Summit or Eagle counties (Colorado). There is no need to drive to a central pickup location and waste your valuable time and fuel.
How large of a group can you accommodate at one time?
Currently we have a dual vehicle capacity of 14 persons for a total of 28 passengers. Soon we will have additional vehicle capacity for single groups of up to 23 persons. We also contract with commercial charter bus companies for very large groups.
What kind of discounts may we expect?
Standard priced fares depend upon age and pick-up location: children under 2 are free with accompanying adult, up to 15 years of age are a reduced rate, and adults are full fare. We have discounts for groups of two or more from the same pick-up location. You can find GROUP DISCOUNT COUPON at bottom of this page.
During the summer months, what sort of weather may we expect on the Georgetown Loop Railroad?
The weather in Colorado during the summer months usually consists of cool, clear mornings, warm and sunny by midday, with possible rain showers in the late afternoon. We suggest you plan for cool weather in the morning and bring a light jacket on the tour with you.
